Jim Corbett National Park, located in Nainital district, Uttarakhand, is India's first national park, established in 1936 as Hailey National Park and later renamed in 1956 after Jim Corbett, the famous hunter-turned-conservationist. Covering 520 square kilometers, the park is known for its rich biodiversity, including the Bengal tiger, Indian elephant, Himalayan black bear, and over 600 species of birds.
